Our Story
Fly & Well was founded with a passion for bridging the gap between high-quality healthcare and affordability, all while showcasing the beauty of Malaysia. Our journey began with Miko, who was born and raised in a small town in Borneo, Malaysia. After finishing high school, she moved to California for college and built a life there. Over the years, we heard the same story repeatedly— the U.S. healthcare system is becoming increasingly unsustainable, with poor patient experiences and a lack of price transparency.
On the other side of the world, Asia offers the same technological advancements in healthcare, where patients can receive top-notch medical care at a fraction of the cost, without sacrificing quality—even for those without insurance. This realization, combined with our deep love for Malaysia and its rich, multicultural heritage, sparked the idea behind Fly & Well.
